22 'When you reap the harvest of your land,
you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field when you reap,
nor shall you gather any gleaning from your harvest.
You shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger:
I am the LORD your God.'"
Leviticus 23:22

         In this modern times, when majority no longer engage in farm work, it has become necessary for individuals, as well as private, public and corporate organizations to extend a some portions of their profits to the poor and needy ones, less privileged, widows, challenged (handicapped), motherless and beggars. The gifts or provisions should be in cash or kind, for there are gifts in kind that are far more valuable and available than cash gifts.

Old properties which are no longer in use can be given out to those in need of such properties.
